Arrive in Jammu (by flight / train / road) and transfer to Katra, the base for Vaishno Devi. After check-in at the hotel, relax and spend the evening exploring local markets – sample street food, small temples, local shops. Overnight stay in Katra.
Early morning, begin the pilgrimage to Mata Vaishno Devi shrine. You trek ~12-km from Katra to Ban Ganga / onward via Sanjichhat (if using helicopter / pony / palki). At Bhawan, seek blessings. Optionally visit the Bhairon Baba Temple and Ardh Kuwari cave if time permits. Return to Katra in evening. Dinner and overnight.
After breakfast, head to Shivkhori Cave Temple (approx 70-80 km from Katra). Spend time inside the cave shrine, explore the natural rock formations, get Shiva darshan. En route or return journey, stop at waterfalls / Baba Dhansar / small villages for local culture glimpses. Evening back in Katra; free time to relax.
Depart after breakfast for Patnitop, a lovely hill resort. On the way/after arrival, visit Nag Temple, Padora Enclave and Patnitop Park. Later, drive to Sanasar, a scenic meadow, for views and possibly small hikes. Evening at leisure in Patnitop: bonfire, group games, local dinner. Overnight in Patnitop.
After breakfast and packing, check out and transfer to Jammu Airport / Railway Station for your journey home. If time allows, stop for shopping or local temple visits in Jammu. Bring back memories, photos, and spiritual peace.
